What do you mean by "upgrade my Windows Installer"?  What are you trying to do, and how are you trying to do it?  I didn't know such a thing was possible other than perhaps via Windows Update as and when instigated by Microsoft.

I have seen a similar type error occur when the irpstacksize too small and needs to be increased, but whether this applies to you I don't know (more details required).

Now Can't Send Or Receive e-Mails Using Nokia 820 With Windows 8

Hi, I hope someone can help me.
I've looked all over the Internet and done all of the obvious steps I can to try and solve this problem.

I live in England and am trying to access my VirginMedia (blueyonder) e-mail account from my Nokia 820.

I was able to do this flawlessly until about Christmas when all of a sudden for no apparent reason I was unable to connect to the VirginMedia (blueyonder) account either via WiFi or the EE network.

I should say I can access my mail via the web interface on my phone (which is less convenient) and via my lap top running Windows 8 and Outlook and my main PC running Windows 7 and Outlook.

I've experimented with almost all of the solutions I've seen for similar problems on the Internet - I've created new accounts, varied the settings, tried connecting without SSL, tried connecting to the VirginMedia servers instead of the Blueyonder servers.
(I should explain that the blueyonder address is historic going back to Telewest that was merged into VirginMedia.)

In my experiments I've had various error messages, the most recent being 80004005...

It seems as if something happened around Christmas that now prevents me from reading my mail...
 A malicious Father Christmas perhaps!

Thanks in advance!

Peter

Solutions to the Problem Now Can't Send Or Receive e-Mails Using Nokia 820 With Windows 8

Hi PeterInKent.

Thank you for your reply.

Is that account is your Microsoft account or secondary email account on the phone?
If that is Microsoft account you will not be able to remove it from the phone, so just add it as another email account to check if you will be able to receive and send emails.
Is I POP or IMAP account?

Regards,
Maria
